Getting Started with WidelAI: Your First 30 Minutes
WidelAI gives you access to top OpenAI, Gemini, and Claude models — all through a single platform. This guide walks you through signing up, choosing a plan, and sending your first prompt.
Step 1: Create Your Account
Head to widelai.com/auth/signup and create an account using your email or Google sign-in. Verification takes less than a minute.
Step 2: Choose a Plan
WidelAI offers three plans:
- Starter ($19/month) — 2,000 credits, access to all models, basic support
- Pro ($49/month) — 7,000 credits, priority support, team collaboration, advanced analytics
- Enterprise (custom) — Unlimited credits, dedicated infrastructure, SLA guarantees
All plans include access to every model on the platform. If you opt for yearly billing, you save 20%.
Tip: Not sure which plan fits? The Starter plan is enough for most individual users. You can always upgrade later — changes take effect immediately with prorated billing.
Step 3: Pick a Model and Start Chatting
Once you're in, head to the chat interface. You can select any model from the model picker — here are some good starting points:
- GPT-5.2 — OpenAI's latest flagship. Great for reasoning, writing, and code generation.
- GPT-5.2 Codex — Purpose-built for software engineering tasks.
- GPT-4o — Fast and capable multimodal model from OpenAI.
- Gemini 3.1 Pro — Google's most capable AI model with advanced multimodal understanding.
- Gemini 3 Flash — Google's speed-optimized model. Best for quick tasks where latency matters.
- Claude Opus 4.6 — Anthropic's most powerful model with enhanced reasoning and 200K context window.
- Claude Sonnet 4.6 — Anthropic's balanced model. Fast, accurate, and great for code generation.
Step 4: Understand Credits
Credits are WidelAI's unified currency. Each model has separate input and output credit rates — output tokens cost more because they require more computation to generate. For example, GPT-5.2 costs 0.35 credits per 1K input tokens and 2.80 credits per 1K output tokens, while GPT-5 nano costs just 0.01 and 0.08 respectively.
- Lightweight models (GPT-5 mini, Gemini 2.5 Flash-Lite) use fewer credits
- Flagship models (GPT-5.2 Pro, Claude Opus 4.6) use more credits
Your plan credits reset each billing cycle. If you purchase additional credits separately, those roll over and never expire.
You can track your usage in real time from the dashboard.
Step 5: Try These Features
Beyond basic chat, WidelAI includes:
- File uploads — Attach images or documents for the model to analyze
- Conversation sharing — Generate a shareable link to any conversation
- Model switching — Switch models mid-conversation to compare responses
- Usage analytics — See exactly how your credits are being spent
What's Next?
Once you're comfortable with the basics:
- Try different models for the same prompt to see how they compare
- Explore the Models page to browse all available models
- If you're on the Pro plan, invite team members and start collaborating
The best way to learn is to experiment. Pick a task you'd normally use ChatGPT for, and try it on WidelAI with a few different models.
